Small and easy to use, May 16, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Shark Lift-Around Pod Vacuum - Model NP319 (Kitchen) I just received this item. I unpacked and used it on my fridge compressor. It seems to work well. My complaint is about the power brush. I was putting it away and the power brush was attached to the hose. As I put it down, it flipped down and hit the ground. A very minor fall, but the power brush broke apart into pieces. It looks like I might be able to put it back together, but who knows. There aren't any instructions on how to do that.
**UPDATE** I just wanted to add that both Amazon and the manufacturer were fantastic in dealing with this problem! After contacting Euro-Pro directly, they are going to send me a replacement power brush. So, I updated my rating to a 4 star.

Great Product, June 2, 2012 This review is from: Shark Lift-Around Pod Vacuum - Model NP319 (Kitchen) Overall this product is great. It is portable, lightweight and small so it can be stored almost anywhere. It has the suction and power of a large vacuum in a portable size. It is great for hard to reach areas, bare floors, carpet, ceilings and furniture. The only problem I have is cord storage....the cord length is great but there is no where to store the cord on the machine. I have been trying to put the cord around the attachment bar, but that really dosen't work well. There is minimal but easy assembly and the dust cup holds alot. There is an attachment for pretty much any job. so if you want a portable vacuum with the power and suction capabilities of a large vacuum...choose this one!!

Good start. Shark can do better., June 4, 2012 By This review is from: Shark Lift-Around Pod Vacuum - Model NP319 (Kitchen) I got this at BB&B for a good price. I saw part of Shark's infomercial and I knew I wanted one of these.
The vac appears to be well made and it does have good suction, almost deceptively. I say this because it you don't feel like it has power if you hold your hand 3 inches away but if you put your hand completely over the nozzle, you really feel the power.
First impressions:
I unboxed this and started working on my carpeted steps and a rug in the foyer. The power attachment was spinning very fast. About halfway through doing the rug in the foyer, I knew the power attachment was in trouble. It was spinning intermittently. I took it off, cleaned the head of hair/stings/debris. I put it back together and it got no better. I think that it may be destined for the junk pile. The belt for the power head looks cheaply and poorly designed.
What Shark could do better:
