So far, so good with this vacuum. It is heavier to push, but if I didn't use the lowest setting (which I think works better on this and all vacuums) it would be easier. I also read reviews where it said this vacuum was a lot of maintenance. True, you may have to empty it each time you use it, but I only vacuum once a week and it works fine and picks up the cat hair (I have 2 Bengals). I also have rinsed out the filter because the vacuum cleaner shuts off automatically if the thermostat becomes too hot, so you have to keep the filter clean. I did not find it took 2 days to dry, but just in case it were to shut off when I was having company, I purchased a second filter to use in emergencies. I also purchased 2 HEPA filters and 2 extra belts from the Eureka website, and when you register your vacuum you get a 20% discount on parts and free shipping after $40, not a bad deal. I do like the retractable cord, also find the edge cleaner pretty good because when you have cats, you do... Read more
