It is the best vacuum for hard floors. Ever! It has an attachement for carpet or rugs as well. I bought this one for my daughter at over half the price and she said it is fabulous. She has a small dog and dark wood floors. Nothing would get fine hair up until she used this. I have found nothing wrong with it and it appeared as new as could be for a refurbished unit. Shipped quickly and well packaged. I just purchased this vacuum about a month ago and all I can say right at this moment that it works well. I have wood floors through out my home and it does very well. It's true what other people have said, you can barely hear it when is on. The only negative thing about it is, the brush attachment keeps falling off the wand as you vacuum. I finally was so annoyed with it that now I take it off before I vacuum my floors. Maybe the manufacturer can work on that. Finally, I hope the vacuum last for a few years because I have had many other brands before, and only last a year or so and I end up throwing them out and move on to the next brand. I am sorry to say i bought it yesterday and got it today, super fast shipping , but this is the worst Electrolux i have ever purchased. The opening at bottom of one head is so small , hardly no suction. The other head will not even move on carpet. Would not recommend it at all. I love Electrolux vaccums but this is the worst ever.
